the romantic Middle Rhine River from a completely new point of view: Rhine
river lights™ offers you the possibility, to be fascinated
by two spectacular firework shows during an evening boat trip on Saturday,
August 22, 2009 past sightseeings between Coblence / Koblenz and Bacharach
respectively between Winkel (in the Rhinegau) and Oberwesel. Those firework displays
cannot be seen at any other similar event! Because the amount of the participating boats
is strictly limited, virtually all guests of the Rhine river lights™ event are in
the "front row". The colorful illumination of the sky above the middle Rhine
river can be seen very well from every place on board of the boat.
The start of the evening boat tour Rhine river lights™
on the Rhine river is in Coblence / Koblenz respectively in the wine town Oestrich-Winkel
(in the Rhinegau). Boarding possibilities from direction Coblence / Koblenz are in
Lahnstein, Rhens, Braubach, Boppard, Kamp-Bornhofen, Bad Salzig, Kestert, St. Goarshausen,
St. Goar and Oberwesel. From the direction Winkel (in the Rhinegau) there are boarding
possibilities in Rudesheim, Bingen, Assmannshausen, Trechtingshausen, Lorch, Bacharach and
Kaub. Accompanied by live music and dance, you will drive past medieval castles and
monasteries through a unique cultural landscape, which has been registered in the World
Heritage Site list of the UNESCO in the year 2002.
In the afternoon or in the evening the passengers
of the Rhine river lights™ will
have a stay for about 3 hours to visit the wine festival summer night in
Bacharach or Oberwesel
on the Middle Rhine River. There is the possibility to make a wine tasting at different
wineries or to promenade through the town. Just stop by at one of the vine dressers and
start the evening with a glass wine from the Middle Rhine River.
After the enjoyment of Rhine wine, the boat trip
continues singing and dancing. After nightfall the boats gather together for a boat
parade. Especially for the guests of the Rhine river lights™,
there's a firework spectacle with two firework displays, which let the sky above the
Middle Rhine River glow in the most beautiful and brilliant colors. Enjoy this firework
entertainment from the upper deck / open air deck of your boat, from where you have a
wonderful view to the fireworks. After the conclusion firework the boats start to return
back.
